Jesus is the Great Physician. He began his ministry by healing the sick. The meaning of 'medicine' in Latin is to heal, but little healing goes on these days. Too often, prevention is ignored and illness is promoted. True healing can only occur by His standards, not ours. (Matthew 4:23)
God was very intentional when He designed our bodies, like when He designed Solomon's temple. Every detail was perfectly accounted for so He could dwell with His people there in harmony, like He dwells within us now. (1 Corinthians 6:19-20)
The temple is a place of sacrifice and worship. Taking good care of our temples matters because it is a form of sacrifice and worship to God. Our bodies are a gift, we should desire to care for them accordingly. (Romans 12:1)
What is your why? When your desire for wellness is greater than yourself, you will be more likely to maintain it. Once you align your heart with God's will, you will achieve results. The superficial fails, while the supernatural lasts. (1 Samuel 15:22)
In order to transform our bodies, we must first renew our minds. We have been misled by misinformation that we have been fed as a society, and conforming to them has compromised our health collectively. (Romans 12:2)
Movement is medicine. The physical and mental benefits of exercise are well-established yet people are more sedentary now more than ever.

Food is fuel. It's function is satisfy your purpose, not to soothe your palate. Active preparation is productive, and passive consumption is costly.
